How to Obtain a Tourist Visa for Algeria

There are two main ways to obtain a tourist visa for Algeria

1. Visa through the Algerian Consulate

You must submit an application file that includes:

  • A completed visa application form 
  • Recent passport-sized photos 
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel reservation or invitation letter) 
  • A return flight ticket (not applicable to you riding in on a motorcycle)

Processing time typically ranges from 5 to 15 working days, depending on the consulate.

  1. Visa on Arrival for the Deep South

If you are traveling to southern regions such as Djanet or Tamanrasset, our agency can handle the entire authorization process for you.

In this case, you will receive your visa upon arrival at the airport or another entry point.
